Runner's High athlete Shawn Bussert followed up his back-to-back marathon weekend with a challenging trail run this past weekend. He raced in the Cle Elum Ridge 50k Trail run and finished in 4th place overall. This classic ultra in Washington State boasts both beautiful scenery and challenging terrain with roughly 7000 feet of elevation gain over the span of the course. While it was one of the hardest ultras he has raced in so far, he looks forward to even more challenging courses to take on in the future.
