A 5K Podium for Lestingi

Posted

Team RH's Mike Lestingi raced in the Elvis Presley 5K in Memphis Tennessee this past weekend. To answer your question, yes, Elvis was in the building. Lots of Elvis's actually. The 32nd edition of this race featured over 1400 runners of which Mike finished right about in the top 1% at 15th place overall. He also grabbed 3rd place overall in the Master's category and earned a nice trophy for his efforts. While Mike races a lot of triathlons where he would be running after the bike portion, I'm sure he appreciates getting to run with fresh legs every now and then where he can show even faster run times. As the triathlon season begins to wind down, maybe we will see Mike in some other running races in the Fall.
